At the center of the ages come those chosen of the One–they who will end Gar’s dominion–two from my own order: one more powerful than all others, doubled of another; one who opens the forbidden way, sprung from my home–one from Carble, myth, dear to the people, reborn, bearing the living waters–one from Melbourth, fire of logic burning in his mind–three from the new order, one king, one queen, mirroring each other, one sacrifice for another–and the cunning mouse, who penetrates all secrets–all maimed and marked by the burden of their choosing. Darkness and evil go with them, light guides them, rumor precedes them, destruction and disturbance follows them; choose to aid them to suffer, choose to oppose them to die . . . .
Prophecy of Shigmar

Book 1 – Chosen of the One
The first book in The Redemption series, an epic fantasy in which the heroes, the “chosen,” must find three keys that will enable them to send Gar, the Lord of Evil, into oblivion, freeing the people from his corrupting influence; the chosen begin, however, ignorant of their call, each of them marked and damaged by Gar, which leads them to be rejected by those whom they would save.
Book 2 – Staff of Shigmar
In this second book of The Redemption series, the chosen seek out the staff of the first kailu, Shigmar, and discover the heavy consequences of using such a powerful artifact to save the city and school of the kailum.

Book 3 – The Morgle Unmasked
The chosen begin their search for the attacker of Shigmar, who holds Melbarth’s Rod, in their effort to recover the rod. This search leads them deep into the swamp named Mariskal where they find the solitary monsters have banded together and begun to attack the areas nearest the Mariskal.
Book 4 – The Rod of Melbarth
In this fourth book of The Redemption series, the chosen continue their search for Melbarth’s rod while the general populace actively seek to destroy them; they locate the missing rod and confront the rod’s terrible guardian.

Book 5 – Xythrax’s End
In the fifth volume of the series, the chosen, flush from their victory over Gwenatera, and their rejection of Gar, they move against the red kailum, testing their newly discovered invulnerability, but this power comes with a cost: Gar and his minions know exactly where they are. This enables Gar’s minions to snatch one of the chosen, leaving them vulnerable and clueless to his location. . . .
Book 6 – House of Potimus
Following their victory over Whitesun and Gar, and mourning the loss of Klare, the chosen seek the incantation that will enable them to restore Klaybear’s wife; their victory is not without cost, for both Holvar and Karble, the seklesi and kortexi orders, have been destroyed. Their only hope is to find the secret fortress of Potimus, original thief, which fortress protects this lost incantation.

Book 7 – The Final Sacrifice
Klare has been restored to life, but in the process, Delgart has wandered off in the company of a heretofore unknown traitor; Klaybear and Thal’s bodies have been recovered from the space in between space and time, but their minds are gone, and where they have gone, we do not yet know; the reclusive vedi race has broken its long isolation to aid the people of the land because of the appearance of ‘white ponkolum’, or servants of Gar who have renounced him and joined the chosen in service to The One. Battle is coming, the final battle to decide the fate of the world; the remaining chosen must gather the survivors to the newly restored city of Shigmar, and prepare to face the final assault of the forces of Gar.
